Abstract

Readiness in the counseling process is very important for a counselor to build a relationship between the counseling process and psychotherapy in analyzing individual problems, where a professional counselor must first establish a relationship in readiness to determine the success of the counseling process. The method used is the analysis of literature which is writing in the form of literature, the purpose of writing, in the process of counseling and psychotherapy, of course a counselor must have readiness in dealing with clients so that clients can solve their problems with counselors openly and voluntarily. It can be concluded in writing the analysis that in the process of counseling and psychotherapy to achieve success the counselor needs to have readiness where the readiness itself is made so that the client feels the need for a counselor who can help the client with his problem. where the readiness carried out by the counselor is a form of acceptance by the counselor to the client where the counselor must accept the client as he is to carry out the counseling process which also makes the client more open and voluntarily in telling all his problems to the counselor.
